Luxury home buyers and sellers approach the process of buying and selling luxury real estate differently from other people.  That’s not just because the prices ranges they deal in usually have one or two extra zeroes; it’s also because of their mindset.  Here are a few of the characteristics I’ve discovered that have helped me succeed in luxury real estate:

1. Luxury Home Buyers Dream Big.

They also understand that a dream in and of itself will not get you to where you want to be.  A dream needs to be turned into a goal, and the quickest way to do that is to assign a deadline to your dream.

2. They Create and Execute Plans of Action and Adjust Them as Necessary to Achieve Their Goals. 

Luxury home buyers and sellers are people of action.  They know where they want to be.  They know how they are going to get there.  They know where they are going to invest.  They know who is going to help them acquire or sell the property, and they plan accordingly.

3. Luxury Home Buyers Know How to Separate Emotion and Logic. 

They know what, where and how they want to purchase.  An emotional component is usually in play, but they’re careful to not let emotion overcome reason.
