A question I am frequently asked is how does this city compare to that one?  That’s a pretty vague question and it really depends on what you are comparing and what’s important to you in the community you want to live in.

I always like to give buyers some housing data that will help them zero in on a community that fits their budget.

This is what I like to share with my clients so I thought I would pass it on:

The average sales price in 2011 for the Twin Cities Metro is $187,424 and the average number of days on the market is 152 days.
